FAST AND FURIOUS 9 Almost Finished, When Will It Be Released?

Through his personal Twitter account, Justin Lin shared a photo of himself with the production team of F9: THE FAST SAGA to celebrate the completion of part of the film. "Thank you very much to the best crew in the world for working flawlessly in unprecedented times," tweeted Justin Lin.

Working in 2020, especially producing films amidst a pandemic like this, is not an easy task. Many films have postponed their production, and many have been canceled indefinitely. Justin Lin and his team were fortunate to complete F9: THE FAST SAGA, in order to make up for the mistakes of THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS and HOBBS & SHAW as soon as possible.

1. Returning to the Right Path

It is undeniable that THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS and HOBBS & SHAW are far from the Fast And Furious world that we know. Battles between submarines and sports cars on ice fields made THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS the subject of ridicule on the internet. Moreover, HOBBS & SHAW which focuses more on action battles than car races left fans wondering.

The return of director Justin Lin to the Fast And Furious world signifies the return of the film's true identity. Justin Lin has previously directed FAST AND FURIOUS: TOKYO DRIFT, FAST AND FURIOUS, FAST FIVE, and FAST & FURIOUS 6. These four films are known for their distinctive Fast And Furious-style car racing. However, despite this, fans still have doubts about whether this characteristic will return after being disappointed by some of the previous films. On Twitter, fans say they wouldn't be surprised if a member of the Torreto family goes to the moon for a race there.

2. The Return of Han

In the trailer for F9: THE FAST SAGA, it is seen that Han, played by Sung Kang, is still alive after last appearing in FAST AND FURIOUS: TOKYO DRIFT. In that film, Han had an accident and was not saved.

The return of the character Han makes F9: THE FAST SAGA intriguing. Fans did not expect Han to come back, making them curious about the story that this film will bring. Starring Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, John Cena, and Sung Kang, F9: THE FAST SAGA will be released on May 28, 2021.
