Spider-Man's Enemy Spin-off Film Will Be Released Next Year, Here are a Series of Character and Cast Portraits from 'KRAVEN THE HUNTER'

In 2017, Sony expressed interest in a standalone Kraven film after considering it for years. Then, in August 2018, Sony announced that 'KRAVEN THE HUNTER' was in development, and in March 2019, Richard Wenk was brought on board to write the script for this film. 'KRAVEN THE HUNTER' will be released by Sony on August 30, 2024. This film will eventually be available to watch on Netflix after the theatrical period, as well as after being available on video on demand and home video. This is due to the agreement between Netflix and Sony in April 2021, which gives the streaming service the first exclusive window for new Sony films. Aaron Taylor-Johnson will portray the main character in this film as Kraven The Hunter. Aaorn Taylor-Johnson previously had experience in superhero films in Avengers: Age of Ultron in the MCU, where he made his debut as Pietro Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver.

Levi Miller has joined the cast of Kraven the Hunter, portraying Sergei Kravinoff when he was young. Levi Miller is known for his roles as Carter Grant in the Supergirl series on The CW, Peter Pan in Pan, and Calvin O'Keefe in A Wrinkle in Time.

The role of Calypso in Kraven the Hunter will be played by Ariana DeBose, who was selected in March 2022 as Kraven's lover in this film. Ariana DeBose was the winner of the 2021 Oscar for West Side Story. She has also appeared in the films Hamilton, Westworld, and The Prom.

Dmitri Smerdyakov, also known as Chameleon, is Kraven the Hunter's stepbrother who becomes Spider-Man's first opponent in Marvel comics. This character will be played by Fred Hechinger.
