NCT DREAM Visits KKN Mystery Ride in Penari Village at the Request of SM, Willing to Close for Jaemin and Co.

Kapanlagi.com - After performing at the Allo Bank Festival 2022 event at Istora Senayan Jakarta on May 20, NCT DREAM did not immediately return to South Korea. Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung apparently spent a few days in Jakarta to create some content.

One of the things that caused a stir was when they were seen visiting the “Journey Through a Story - KKN in Penari Village” Mystery Ride at FX Sudirman, on Sunday (22/5).

Through their Instagram account, Dyandra Global Edutainment (DGE) as the organizer also expressed their thanks to NCT Dream for coming to the mystery ride.

1. Reason for Coming

The arrival of NCT DREAM was due to the good relationship between SM Entertainment, SM Indonesia and the organizers. When the theme park was newly opened, SM Indonesia's friends also came. In addition, the SM Indonesia office and the theme park location are also close.

"So we didn't actually invite them directly. But when we opened the theme park, our relationship with SM (Entertainment) and SM Indonesia was close enough. When we opened the theme park, we invited SM Indonesia's friends to come and play at the park," said Dudi P Zarius, Marketing Communication Manager of DGE when contacted by Kapanlagi. "If NCT came yesterday, it was entirely at the request of SM to come to the theme park. Maybe because SM Indonesia's friends had already come, they had a need for content or something. Because the place is also close to their office location, they came together," he continued.

2. Temporarily Closed

The organizers did not make special preparations to welcome NCT Dream. However, as requested, they deliberately closed the theme park for about an hour.

"We were only informed two days before. Actually, we didn't have any special preparations, but at their request, we also avoided the risk of mass gathering because we are still indoors with the current situation. So when they came, we closed it temporarily for about an hour. After they finished, the theme park was reopened as usual,” explained Dudi P Zarius.

3. NCT Dream Happy

Dudi P Zarius also stated that during their time at the theme park, NCT Dream was very happy and experienced something new in Indonesia.

“It was smooth, they went in and out of the ride safely. Their reaction was happy, you know, it's something new for them. Well, I didn't go inside with them but they were happy because it was a new experience for them, an experience in Indonesia,” he said.

4. More Visitors?

So, with the presence of NCT Dream, does the Mystery Ride “Journey Through a Story - KKN in Penari Village” become more crowded with visitors?

“If we look at social media and all the news, many people want to come and experience what NCT experienced. But that was only yesterday, so if there is a significant increase in visitors, we can only see it today,” said Dudi P Zarius.
