Ahmad Dhani Unites Two Legends of the World on Stage at Dewa 19 All Stars

Ahmad Dhani's promise to deliver a historic concert has finally been fulfilled. The Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) on Saturday (06/9/2025) night witnessed a spectacular moment in the concert of Dewa 19 Featuring All Stars 2.0.

The highlight of this colossal performance occurred when Ahmad Dhani proudly claimed to have made history in the music industry, not only in Indonesia but also in the world. In front of tens of thousands of Baladewa, he successfully united two legendary rock musicians on one stage.

The epic moment happened when the bassist of Mr. Big, Billy Sheehan, and virtuoso guitarist, Steve Vai, stood side by side. Dhani loudly declared that this was the first time the two legends performed together.

"For the first time, Billy Sheehan and Steve Vai are on the same stage, and this is history that only happens in Jakarta," shouted Ahmad Dhani from the stage of Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (06/9/2025).

The stage was then rocked by the performances of three vocalists from Dewa 19: Virzha, Marcello Tahitoe, and Ari Lasso, who took turns performing hit songs such as "The Most Beautiful Woman in My Country Indonesia", "Siti Nurbaya is Enough", and "Risalah Hati".

The atmosphere became even more relaxed when Ari Lasso made his typical jokes. Before Dhani stepped forward, Ari teased his friend. "Ahmad Dhani wants to make love," said Ari Lasso, which was met with laughter, just moments before Dhani sang that song.

After the historic collaboration performing "Jump", the stage continued to heat up. Dewa 19 along with Steve Vai performed the song "Still of the Night" by Whitesnake, before the guitar god finally amazed the audience with his legendary instrumental solo, "For the Love of God".

This concert itself is a tangible proof of Ahmad Dhani's great ambition in music. He successfully brought in other big names such as Eric Martin (Mr. Big), Gary Cherone (Extreme), and Derek Sherinian (former Dream Theater).
