However, the producers and label assured them that the song had great potential. Eventually, they looked for a way to include the song without losing the band's character.

"Because we were afraid it would make us similar to existing pop songs. But the producer, the label, everyone said this song has to be included. So the middle ground is we as the artists, okay it can be included but we need to have a story in this song," said Angga.

One of the solutions taken by Maliq & D’Essentials was to give the song to Widi to sing. This decision was not without reason. "In the end, let's create a gimmick or a story, okay let Widi sing instead of Angga. Because he is indeed the creator," explained Angga.

In addition, they wanted to create something different and surprise the listeners. "Secondly, we don't want this song to be announced," he added.

As part of their unique strategy, Untitled was not officially announced on the album's tracklist. In fact, on the CD and cassette, this song has no title and is placed as track 14.

"So back then on the CD and cassette, there was track 14. And we didn't include it, so there are 14 tracks. And that song is the 14th song. So we gave a long pause after the 13th song and we didn't give a title there," explained Angga.

Because it has no title, many listeners have difficulty mentioning the name of this song when they want to play it on the radio or request it during live performances. "So at that time, if people wanted to request that song, they would say, 'Sir, that's track 14,'" he revealed.

Finally, they decided to give a name that matched the condition. "We were confused about how to say it, right? In the end, we just needed a title here. So, a song without a title, untitled," he concluded. Although it was initially almost not included in the album, Untitled has become one of Maliq & D'Essentials' most recognized songs to this day.
