Born Ready: Rinni Wulandari's Story of Ups and Downs in the Music Industry

In this new song, Rinni collaborates with her husband, Jevin Julian, as the music producer. As for the lyrics, Rinni entrusts them to Neonomora.

The Indonesian Idol alumna said that the lyrics of Born Ready are based on her real-life journey in the music industry. "So, actually Born Ready is the result of my experiences. Many people know me for singing love songs and dance tracks. They don't know about my struggles in creating music for 13 years. This song tells the story of my ups and downs in my career and creativity," said Rinni in Jakarta on Thursday (30/1).

"There was a time when I gave songs to a label but they were rejected, and I almost gave up on my career. I lost my spirit, doubted myself, people didn't believe in me, and I didn't believe in myself. In Born Ready, I want to convey that I went through that phase and eventually solved the problem by returning to my true self and successfully overcoming it. I rose again to create according to my passion," she continued.

She hopes that through the story of her struggle in building her career, which is expressed in Born Ready, she can inspire many people. "I hope this song can motivate and inspire others, to never give up on anything they love," she said.

Born Ready is not the only song that will carry a meaningful message from Rinni. The plan is that after Born Ready, Rinni will release a single every six weeks containing inspiring messages.

"So I made it together with Jevin sharing session. Basically, this year I will release a single every six weeks to motivate and inspire moms. Because moms at home can struggle, especially those who work. This is a movement from mom to mom," she said.
