Kapanlagi.com - Bunga Bangsa, a female progressive drummer from Semarang, Indonesia, has broken the MURI record as the "Longest Female Teen Drummer" (22 hours) in 2021.
During the record-breaking event, Bunga managed to raise a donation of 2.2 billion, which was given to 1400 orphans throughout Indonesia through the Mizan Amanah Foundation.
Continuing her debut single titled Panggrantesing Jagad (Sadness of the Earth) released in January 2020, Bunga Bangsa released her second single titled Prahara Rusaking Jagad (The Incident of Earth's Destruction) on May 25, 2022.
"I released it a week before my 17th birthday," said Bunga Bangsa in her written statement.
The latest single was released digitally in Video Clip format on the Bunga Bangsa Official Youtube channel and was followed by its audio release, which can be heard on all digital platforms such as Spotify, Joox, Apple Music, etc. on May 27, 2022.

As a patriotic Indonesian, Bunga Bangsa has a mission to preserve the culture, language, and traditional music of Indonesia. She still uses Javanese language as the lyrics in her latest single.
"In addition, several traditional Indonesian musical instruments such as gamelan, flute, zither, and kendang are beautifully wrapped in a unified composition together with Bunga Bangsa's modern and progressive metal genre music," she said.

Prahara Rusaking Jagad tells the story of the damage to the earth caused by human actions that exploit the Earth excessively and use it for personal and group interests without thinking about the long-term impact on the sustainability of all living creatures on Earth.
In the making of the music video, Bunga Bangsa collaborated with several great musicians in the country; Agung Hellfrog (Burgerkill), Hinhin (Nectura), Arief (Kapten), Ady Julian (Yovie n Nuno), Artmay Studio Tari, and Swarantara Traditional Music Group.
Hopefully, this work can enrich the music repertoire in Indonesia and can be a message to all listeners that the Earth we inhabit can endanger our lives and our future generations, if the behavior and attitude we have towards the Earth is done brutally and irresponsibly.
