Celebrate the Dynamics of Modern Youth Romance, Singer Adifa Launches Single 'Jatuh Lagi /Benci Lagi'

Kapanlagi.com - The feelings of happiness and emotion seem insufficient to describe what Adifa is experiencing right now. The singer from the Trinity Optima Production incubation program, who is also a beauty creator, has finally released her debut single 'Jatuh Lagi /Benci Lagi'.

This achievement by Adifa also marks Trinity Optima as a label that continues to uphold its commitment to encourage young talents to develop their skills. The collaborative work she wrote with Simhala Avadana (A&R Trinity Optima Production) and TinTin tells the story of a couple that keeps trying to hold on, even while going through a relationship that often experiences cycles of making up and fighting, like thoughts that don’t align during the relationship, yet they actually feel compatible in many aspects and love each other.

Written over 5 months, the challenge Adifa faced was mainly in determining the song's topic. Adifa openly stated that the inspiration for this song came when she was listening to Slank's song - 'Ku Tak Bisa' in the car.

“Sad, yet on one side touching, and it can also be viewed from a humorous perspective. Frustrating, cute, but also annoying. Well, this kind of sadness doesn’t have to be overly mourned," Adifa expressed in her written statement, Saturday (27/7).

"Why not try to look at it from a more chill perspective, you know, the important thing is to laugh and dance. Essentially, just try to enjoy more and make peace with sadness. You don’t have to take yourself seriously all the time," she added.

Simhala Avadana, as one of the lyricists for the song, admitted that Adifa is a cooperative musician, making it easy to collaborate with her. The reason is that during the song's creation, Adifa actively provided input and invited discussions.

In terms of voice, she also has a very strong vocal character, combined with her cheerful persona. Embracing a 70s concept with a vintage setting from the wardrobe worn to the color vibe of the music clip, Adifa expressed satisfaction with the music video produced by Michelle H from the production house Otherlands.

This is because the concept presented aligns with Adifa's wishes, which includes an art installation of a couple that adds an adorable impression. In that art installation, she, as the female model in the music video, is always entertained and rescued by her female friends, even though sometimes they also get annoyed hearing the story of their friend's toxic love life.

Through this song, Adifa hopes to accompany listeners in their precious and happy moments with their loved ones and validate their feelings that they are not going through it alone. However, she notes that at certain points, relationships that have become too toxic should not be maintained.

“I feel that in my life there are many musicians who make me feel that way,” she said.

“So, I also want to provide that warmth, to be part of people’s precious moments with the release of this song. I hope people can dance around to this song!” she added.
