Kapanlagi.com - Although he has passed away, the founder of Magenta Orchestra who was also active in creating songs in his time, Tono Supartono, can still be enjoyed. Recently, his song titled 'Jujur Saja' became a public conversation again after being sung again by Ira Batti along with music composer, Andi Rianto. It turns out, there is another name who also has an important role behind the re-airing of the song.
It is Dimas Supartono, who is the son of Tono Supartono and chose to continue his father's musical footsteps. In the song 'Jujur Saja', Dimas was also involved and became part of the song's production process.
"Of course, I am very happy and proud that my late father's work, sung by Ira Batti, is being heard by many listeners in many cities and also shown on Youtube," Dimas said in his statement on Monday (24/6/2024).

Furthermore, as a child, Dimas Supartono was determined to continue his late father's struggle in the music industry of the homeland. One way he did this was by being involved in the production of the single “Jujur Saja”, which has started to be played on radio stations in the country and enjoyed by the general public.
“I have to play a role in the Indonesian music industry again because my interests and passion are the same as my late father's. Hopefully, listeners and music lovers in Indonesia can enjoy his work sung by Ira," he explained.
Prior to deciding to follow in his father's musical footsteps, this man, born on June 7, 1983, is also known as a skilled entrepreneur in the property and culinary fields. His musical activities are carried out in between his work as an entrepreneur.
Not merely pursuing music as a hobby, the first-born son of Tono Supartono and Upiek Supartono feels compelled to play an active role in the Indonesian music industry due to his interests and passion. Moreover, the music industry is currently filled with talented young talents.
For your information, the late Tono Supartono himself was known as a veteran musician. In addition to his role as a businessman and entrepreneur, Tono was a skilled songwriter. One of his masterpieces is the song "Keagungan Tuhan" which was featured in the Prambors Teen Songwriting Competition in 1978 and became popular when it was sung by the late Eddy Silitonga.
Not only a musician and songwriter, Tono Supartono was also an important figure behind the success of Magenta Orchestra, which he co-founded with Indra U Bakrie and Andi Rianto in mid-2004. In 2021, Tono Supartono also collaborated with Andi Rianto on the song titled "Sang Bidadari".
