Duo Formation with Rangga Dirgantara, Musician Rudye Presents Acoustic Music with ASA/KATA

Kapanlagi.com - Musicians Rangga Dirgantara and Rudye have announced the formation of their latest duo named ASA/KATA. The name of this duo is inspired by their latest song titled Seisi Jiwa.

"The theme of the song's lyrics is hope. Asakata represents our future direction as musicians who want to inspire," said Rudye during a press conference in Senopati area, South Jakarta, on Friday (8/11/2023).

The ASA/KATA music presented by Rangga Dirgantara and Rudye is different from what they have previously created. With ASA/KATA, Rudye wants to bring music that is rich with acoustic nuances.

"Actually, it's nothing special, this is an acoustic music project. My previous projects were Killing Me Inside and LYON band with Okin. I want to preserve acoustic music here," said Rudye.

1. Don't Need Much Time

ASA/KATA's debut single titled Seisi Jiwa. The song was written by Rudye. Rangga Dirgantara said that the songwriting process didn't take much time.

"Rud made (the song) like this. And, with his genius, he (Rudye) made it without any problems," said Rangga Dirgantara.

"What we want to convey is that we have experienced the lowest moments. We can find a point and achieve a result from our efforts. We find people who are currently struggling in life and listen to this song to rise again," added Rudye.

2. Ready to Continue Creating

ASA/KATA's presence in the Indonesian music industry is not only limited to the single Seisi Jiwa. ASA/KATA is ready to present new works in the Indonesian music industry.

"The idea for the second song is already there. I'm the one who came up with the idea, the idea is already there, Rudye just needs to help," concluded Rangga Dirgantara.

ASA/KATA is a new duo, but they have a big mission to inspire people with their music. With beautiful acoustic music and hopeful lyrics, ASA/KATA is ready to become one of the most popular duos in Indonesia.
