Singer Abelle Expresses Longing for Deceased Twin Brother Through the Song 'Kuingin Kau Ada'

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Abelle released a new single titled Kuingin Kau Ada on Friday (21/7/2023). The song is very personal to Abelle as it tells the story of her longing for her twin brother who passed away several years ago.

"I often wake up in the middle of the night after dreaming about my twin, and it feels sad because the meeting is too short," said Abelle when met in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Friday (21/7/2023).

Through the song Kuingin Kau Ada, whose real name is Annabelle Maleeka Victoria Putransyah, she wants to express her longing and imagination of what it would be like if Isabelle, who is her soulmate, came to accompany her.

"I want this song to be meaningful for many people, especially those who have experienced loss," said Abelle.

The song Kuingin Kau Ada was created thanks to a conversation between Abelle and the producer and songwriter Ully Dalimunthe. In the same occasion, Ully revealed that, actually, the song Kuingin Kau Ada has existed for 10 years.

"Actually, this song has been around for 10 years, when I heard Abelle's story, it turned out to be related to her story too," said Ully Dalimunthe.

It is known that Annabelle Maleeka Victoria Putransyah, who is affectionately called Abelle, is a talented 12-year-old girl.

2. Coinciding with the New Academic Year

Abelle's first single was released when she was 6 years old in 2017, titled Main Bekel. The second and third singles were released in 2018, titled Bulan Ramadhan and Adikku Sayang. In 2019, Abelle released her single titled Sahabat, and her fifth single titled Terima Kasihku Bunda was released in December 2022 to celebrate Indonesia's National Mother's Day.

Kuingin Kau Ada will accompany Abelle as she enters the new academic year as a junior high school student, in July 2023. Kuingin Kau Ada has been released and played simultaneously on July 21, 2023.
