From Ciledug to America, D'Masiv Ready to Rock the MUSEXPO 2025 Stage

This event will be held in Los Angeles, United States, from March 12-20, 2025. This opportunity marks an important moment for the band from Ciledug to introduce their work on a global scale.

MUSEXPO is an international music conference that has produced many of the world's great musicians. The event was initiated by Sat Bisla in 2001 and has served as a springboard for musicians like Coldplay, Muse, Adele, and Katy Perry. Now, it is D'Masiv's turn to seize this valuable opportunity.

"We have big dreams, from a small alley in Ciledug, we want to travel the world with our works. Thank God, we finally have the chance to perform at MUSEXPO 2025, an event that has given rise to many world bands," said Rian at Shabu Kojo Premium, South Jakarta, Friday (21/2/2025).

1. Show Different Concepts

As one of the headliners at MUSEXPO 2025, D'Masiv will perform with a different concept. They will present new songs written in English as a commitment to reach the international market. In addition, they have the opportunity to perform during prime time, which will certainly be a highlight of the event.

"We have been given 30 minutes, and we might perform around six songs. Thank God this year we are on the big stage, during prime time," said Rian.

For D'Masiv, this opportunity is not just about performing abroad, but also a strategic step in introducing their music to the global industry. They will perform in front of music producers, record labels, and world promoters attending MUSEXPO.

"We will perform live in front of music producers, record labels, and promoters on March 16 there," he said.

2. New Challenge

This opportunity also becomes a new challenge for D'Masiv as an independent band. After completing a long contract with Musica Studio's, they now take full control over their works and musical journey.

"So indeed, the 8th album was the last album for D'Masiv with Musica, thank God everything went well according to the contract. After we finished, we had to prepare, so starting this year we have been preparing to release an international album to elevate D'Masiv's dream level," explained Rian.

In addition to new songs, D'Masiv will also perform a song that was previously released in English, namely Side By Side, which was released in 2022. This song will serve as a bridge to introduce their musical character to international listeners.

"We were given 30 minutes. So about six songs that we will perform, and mostly, 90 percent are new songs. Songs that are indeed unreleased, that we have never released in Indonesia. One song we might perform is Side By Side, which we released in 2022," he said.

3. Indonesian Music on the Global Stage

With this step, D'Masiv hopes to open the door wider for Indonesian music on the global stage. They want to prove that bands from Indonesia can also compete and be accepted by the international market.

"This time we are grateful because we have the opportunity to participate in something extraordinary. This March, we will perform at MUSEXPO 2025, where many world bands are born, so please pray for us," concluded Rian.

D'Masiv's significant step is supported by many parties. Pertamina, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Desound, JBL, TransJakarta, Shabu Kojo Premium, Warna Warni Advertising, and Glance have all contributed to realizing this band's dream of soaring to a global level.
