Getting More Serious in the Music World, Amel Amelia Releases Second Single

Kapanlagi.com - Amel Amelia once again proves that she is not just someone who looks like Nike Ardilla to survive in the entertainment industry in Indonesia. After releasing her debut single a few months ago titled 'Serupa' which was trending, Amel proves her existence.

Last Friday (10/29), TA Pro Musik, the label that represents Amel, announced about her new song. It is known that the song is titled 'Ku Ingin Bebas' (I Want to Be Free), which is Amel's answer to her fans' requests for a second single.

"This is my dedication to the fans who have been waiting for, when will Amel release her second single," said Amel during the release of 'Ku Ingin Bebas' at the TA Pro office in Cibubur, Depok.

The singer dubbed The Next Nike Ardilla also added that this new song has a completely opposite meaning to her first song. In the single Serupa, she seemed to admit that she is indeed similar to Nike Ardilla. But in her latest single, she wants to be free.

"For this second song, Amel really wants to be herself," she added.

The same thing was also expressed by the Director of TA Pro, Tole Sutrisno, and Agi Sugiyanto as the producer. Their initial desire for Amel to sing songs by the late Nike changed. Both of them want Amel to be herself. 

"After considering various factors, we finally want to make Amel an independent figure, and have her own distinctive characteristics without having to imitate what the late Nike has done," explained Tole.

"She already has a star aura, apart from other similarities to Nike. She has her own fire and passion," concluded Agi.
