New Single Release Titled 'The Lucky Ones', Jaz Invites Listeners to be More Grateful

Kapanlagi.com - The melodious voice of Jaz Hayat, or more familiarly known as Jaz, is already familiar to music lovers in Indonesia. He has released several singles, including Dari Mata, Teman Bahagia, Bagaimana Bisa, and Sedang Jatuh Cinta.

The album titled Sinergi was also just released last June. Now, approaching the end of 2021, Jaz apparently has prepared two singles to greet his fans. One of them is Lucky Ones.

Ready to be released on digital platforms on October 27, 2021, Lucky Ones is Jaz's debut collaboration with composer Eka Gustiwana. Jaz admits that there is no change in terms of genre even though this is his first single with English lyrics.

“The most different aspect is the music, which is slightly influenced by Eka's music. Besides Eka, I was also assisted by Bowo as the vocal director and Nessie Judge in the pronunciation aspect,” he explained.

1. Grateful in the Midst of Problems

Besides wanting to develop his musical experience by trying different things from his previous songs, Jaz chose Lucky Ones as his new single also because of the meaning it contains.

“The theme of this song is about being grateful in the midst of problems, one of which is quarter life crisis. The meaning of this song is to face any problems that exist. No matter how difficult it is, we are still the lucky ones,” said Jaz.

Although using English lyrics, Jaz has not yet desired to venture into the international world.

“It doesn't seem to have crossed my mind yet because my previous songs were also purely in Indonesian. Coincidentally, Eka has a new song in English and offered it to me. I immediately liked it because the music is easy listening and relatable to people who have experienced quarter life crisis,” he concluded.
