Armada Band Releases New Album After 4 Years, Inspired by Youth Pledge

Kapanlagi.com - After a long hiatus, the band Armada finally decided to make a comeback by releasing a new album titled KITA BERSAUDARA. This album contains 14 new songs and is inspired by the upcoming Youth Pledge Day on October 28.

Yes, KITA BERSAUDARA reveals the beauty of diversity in Indonesia. What's special is that Armada also combines various elements and different musical themes in this latest album.

"From the youth pledge, one language, nation, country. It means that even though there are various races in Indonesia, various ethnic groups, religions, we are all united as children of Motherland," explained Rizal, the vocalist of Armada, at KFC Kemang Timur, South Jakarta, on Friday (10/22).

As known, Armada last released an album 4 years ago. Rizal and his bandmates are grateful that KITA BERSAUDARA can finally be released this year after being delayed for a year due to the pandemic.

"Alhamdulillah, today, with the permission of Allah, after 4 years (we release an album again). Actually, we were thinking of releasing the album in mid-2020. But because of the pandemic, we postponed the album release," he continued.

WE ARE BROTHERS was officially released last Friday (22/10). However, it seems that the enthusiasm of music lovers has been very positive, with a total of around 50 thousand CDs sold in a week at 740 KFC outlets in Indonesia.

"Thank you to JMSI and KFC for appreciating Armada's work for the second time. And Alhamdulillah, the response in the last week has been quite good as well. Hopefully, after today's launch, it will continue to improve in the future," said the frontman.

Through the album WE ARE BROTHERS, Armada hopes that the Indonesian people will remain positive in facing the challenges of the ongoing pandemic.
