Azel Releases Debut Single 'Hilang Arah', The Unfinished Search for the Heart

Kapanlagi.com - Since the government started allowing events to be held again amidst the Covid-19 pandemic while still implementing health protocols, it has been a breath of fresh air for musicians to resume their work.

One of them is a singer named Azel who released a single titled Hilang Arah. Collaborating with Madja Records for distribution, Azel said that the single is a prelude before releasing an album in 2022.

The latest single was written and produced directly by Azel himself. Azel said that the inspiration came from the reflection on the never-ending process of searching for the heart.

"So Hilang Arah tells the story of my process of searching for love but always being hindered by things that are stopped. It has to be stopped, and finally we search for a home to return to. When we search for a home to return to, we end up losing direction," said Azel in the Kalibata area, Pancoran, South Jakarta, Friday (22/10).

The man who once participated in the talent search event The Voice in 2016 has prepared 8 songs for an album that will be released in 2022.

"The 2022 album process already has 7-8 songs, and the total will be 10-12 songs. Currently planning to organize an off-air event first," he said.

Azel hopes that his new single can bring something new to the world of Indonesian music and represent the feelings of anyone who feels lost in their love relationship.
