The event is planned to be held at Surabaya North Quay (SNQ), Tanjung Perak, on Thursday (21/10). However, considering that the Covid-19 pandemic has not ended, the organizers will implement strict health protocols in the event, which will start from 11:00-22:00 WIB non-stop.

The Chairman of Surabaya Pahlawan Jazz (SPJ), FX Boy, said that they will also limit the number of visitors. Only invited guests will be able to watch the performances live on the outdoor and indoor stages.

"Everyone entering Surabaya North Quay must undergo an antigen swab test," said FX Boy during a virtual press conference on Monday (18/10).

In addition, each band change will also be given a 30-minute break to sterilize equipment. And for those who cannot witness the event directly, the organizers will also stream it or through YouTube SPJ.

"Because later the SPJ recording will also be uploaded to YouTube as 3 episodes," he said.

Of course, the event will feature dozens of jazz groups and hundreds of jazz musicians from young to senior generations as a manifestation of the existence of Jazz in the Hero City.

Guest stars who will be present include Rio Sidik and Nita Aartsen, Surabaya All Star, CTWOsix, Universitas, Victor & Friends, Riosax & Sons, FJazzc, Eatymusiq, Korek Jazz, Kevin P Quintent, ITS Jazz, Orange Feat Prita Kartika, Sinergi, Estu, IHSG-Saxunuty and Suara Anak Negeri, as well as hundreds of other jazz musicians who will enliven the event. aal
