As a Form of Respect to the Band Naif, Adjis Doaibu and Friends Dedicate a Song titled Yth: NAIF

Kapanlagi.com - Diskoria, Ardhito Pramono, and Isyana Sarasvati present a song titled Yth: NAIF. This song is created as a form of tribute to the disbanded band NAIF at the beginning of 2021.

Written by Ricky Surya Virgana from White Shoes and The Couples Company together with Arif Fauzan from Irama Pantai Selatan. What's interesting is that in this collaboration, they also involve KawaNAIF (the nickname for Naif fans), namely Gilang Gombloh and Adjis Doaibu.

"So we created a project titled Yth: NAIF, we made Yth: NAIF because Naif has a song called Yts: Ibu in the album Titik Cerah, Yang Tersayang Ibu. So we created another title Yth: NAIF. So, as a form of respect to Naif," said Adjis to Kapanlagi.com, on Friday (22/10/2021).

As a big fan of Naif, Adjis Doaibu feels happy and sad to be involved in a project initiated by Studio Pop. What makes him happy is being able to contribute a work to his idol band. Then, what makes this President of Stand Up Indo feel sad is that the band he has idolized since 2004 decided to disband.

"I want to dedicate this to Naif, and they invited several people from KawaNAIF, Naif Fun Club, me and Gilang Gombloh. So it's like a dedication to the band that has accompanied us and become the soundtrack of our lives, those songs," said Adjis.

"So it's the soundtrack of the people involved in this project. Both Ricky, Diskoria, Isyana, Ardhito, the Studio Pop kids, even me and Gilang. Because we feel that every Naif song has its own story," added Adjis.

For Adjis, the song Yth: NAIF is one of the dedications he gives to Naif, consisting of Pepeng, Jarwo, David, and Emil. Considering that, throughout their career in the Indonesian music industry, Naif has produced dozens of cool songs.

"So we give this dedication to those who have been so cool. They have often given us their works, now it's time for us to give them something," said Adjis.
