The song "Tiada Ruang" was written from Nicco Aditya's personal experience of having a crush on a beautiful woman in Yogyakarta.

Unfortunately, the woman that Nicco had admired since high school was already proposed to by her boyfriend. Nicco feels that there is no longer any room to get that woman. From that experience, Nicco immediately poured his story into the song "Tiada Ruang".

"Tiada ruang (no space) is based on my personal experience and my guitarist's. The song was created since my high school days in Yogyakarta. My guitarist and I felt hurt by a woman. At that time, I was a simple person from Yogyakarta, studying on a scholarship. We idolized the same woman, different people," said Nicco Aditya in a virtual press conference on Wednesday (25/8/2021).

"We idolized the woman but we each have our own partners. This is the village beauty that deserves to be fought for. Finally, we tried to get closer, but we felt unsure if we could get her. We moved to Jakarta. Then she already had another man and she was already engaged. It was heartbreaking, so in the end, there was no more room in our hearts," continued Nicco.

1. Written Since High School

Actually, the song "Tiada Ruang" was written when Nicco was in high school (SMA) in Yogyakarta. Then, when Nicco continued, it only took him more than a month until the song "Tiada Ruang" was completed and released.

"If the song was from high school, the chorus was made by my former guitarist, the band disbanded. My guitarist in Yogya had all the good songs. Maybe half of them were good. I said it would be a waste if this wasn't worked on," said Nicco.

What is interesting about the song "Tiada Ruang" is that Nicco Aditya collaborated with Rahmi. A singer who has participated in a talent search competition called Idola Cilik. So, what made Nicco interested in duetting with Rahmi in the song "Tiada Ruang"?

"Actually, this song is about a hurt man. It's strange to have a woman here, but it's like a woman's confession that you were wrong and regret it. Just to add some color. As for why Rahmi, I was initially confused, then Pandu suggested Rahmi. We just welcomed it," he said.

2. Have You Prepared Another Work

After the song "Tiada Ruang," it turns out that Nicco has prepared several other works. Even in 2022, Nicco also plans to release his debut album. Considering that he already has several songs ready to be released.

"Three songs in the first single. Later, seven or eight songs for the album in 2022. Hopefully, there will be opportunities to produce more songs," he said.

Through the song "Tiada Ruang," Nicco Aditya hopes that his song can represent the wider community. Especially for those who have experienced the same thing as Nicco Aditya himself.

"Hopefully accepted by the community. Can become a playlist on platforms. Hopefully, it's enjoyable to listen to and can spread throughout the archipelago. Hopefully, it won't just be a work for many people but will be beneficial for many people so that it can continue. We're excited for the second single," Nicco concluded.
