The figure of Iwan Fals always manages to captivate the stage in every performance. This was no exception during the peak night of SCTV's 35th Anniversary Xtraordinary held on Sunday (24/8/2025) night. This legendary musician once again showcased his class with a stunning and energetic performance.

However, there was something different about his performance this time. The man whose real name is Virgiawan Listanto did not perform alone. He collaborated with a lineup of vocalists from top bands of the 2000s that rose to fame through the music program Inbox, such as Hello Band, Hijau Daun, Bagindas, Five Minutes, and Goliath.

After his performance, Om Iwan, as he is affectionately called, expressed his delight with this cross-generational collaboration. He even included a meaningful message behind his performance with the young musicians.

"I am happy because I also want to convey the message that hopefully SCTV's events inspire us to give birth to new Bentos," said Iwan Fals.

This message refers to one of his phenomenal songs titled "Bento," which he indeed performed that night with the vocalists. He hopes that this collaboration can spark enthusiasm for the emergence of new musicians who are critical and brave enough to voice their hearts.

For the maestro, the 35th anniversary celebration of SCTV is an extraordinary achievement. He sees that at this mature age, SCTV faces a significant challenge to continue presenting shows that are not only entertaining but also educational amidst the onslaught of the digital era.

"Especially now, everyone has their heads down, right? So, what are the challenges for friends at SCTV to create something that is not just about providing information but also educating and entertaining? How about that?" he explained.

He also urged SCTV to continue being a companion for the journey of the Indonesian nation, which he believes is in a phase that is "exciting."

At the end of the interview, the 63-year-old singer expressed his prayers and hopes for SCTV. He hopes that this television station will continue to be enthusiastic, spread positive energy, and of course, continue to entertain the public.
