Often Gossiped with Many Men, Here's Wika Salim's Response

Met at the Super VIP Music Festival event on Wednesday (23/3) in the Gandaria area, Wika responded to the matter. Apparently, this 40-year-old woman is not too bothered by the rumors circulating about her. She responds to it calmly and casually.

"Usually suddenly there is news that Wika is close to this person, that person. I don't respond to that. It's just a gimmick on stage, I'm relaxed. It's up to people to respond however they want, I'm just indifferent, which means I've successfully played that role," said Wika.

According to Wika, a relaxed and indifferent attitude is important for an artist to have, especially in the era of social media where everyone can easily comment. Wika uses the same formula when dealing with haters.

"As a public figure, it's normal to deal with haters. If it's too much, I don't entertain them and I block them if their comments are too negative. Sometimes, I respond with humor and jokes. I don't really pay attention, but if there's something that needs to be addressed, I will address it," she continued.

2. Super VIP Music Festival

At the Super VIP Music Festival, Wika sang 8 songs. Participating in the event which takes place every Wednesday from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM on Bigo Live certainly made Wika happy, especially since her gigs have been significantly reduced during the pandemic.

"During the pandemic, it's definitely different. Besides the many rules we have to follow and the limited and postponed events, the difference is in the way we interact and perform. Thank God, even though it's reduced, there are still gigs. I've participated in several events on Bigo, but this is my first time for a music event," Wika concluded.
