Kapanlagi.com - The last day of the Open House of Raja Brawijaya 2026 was lively at the Rectorate Field of Brawijaya University, Malang, on Sunday (30/8/2026). Since morning, new students known as Candrasena 64 participated in various activities, ranging from the introduction of student organizations and SMEs to ice-breaking with sponsors. The excitement continued into the afternoon with performances by Coldiac and Diskoria ft. Neida.

The Open House of Raja Brawijaya 2026 carried the concept of "Gelora Brawijaya" which brings the spirit to realize a new transformative generation towards Indonesia Gold 2045. Not only introducing campus life and various self-development platforms, this year the committee also brought an environmental awareness message through the Green Campus program. This program introduces new students to waste sorting into five categories and the use of Reverse Vending Machines (RVM).

In addition to carrying an environmental message, the series of OH Raja Brawijaya 2026 was also filled with various activities that encourage new students to actively develop themselves during their studies. The Deputy Coordinator of the PIT Division of Raja Brawijaya 2026, Wangi Nisita Naura R., hopes that this spirit will not only last through the first semester but will continue into the following semesters.

"For the new students, I advise and hope that their studies go smoothly, not just being enthusiastic in the first semester, but also in the following semesters and participating in various activities like organizations, committees, student organizations, and so on." "Spirit!" said Wangi.

1. Candrasena Ambassador 2026

One of the activities is the Candrasena Ambassador 2026, which stands out in this year's event. The Deputy Chair of the Organizing Committee for Raja Brawijaya 2026, Kaila Safira Billah, explained that this event selects ten new students who have potential in communication, leadership, and content creation to become the face of Raja Brawijaya 2026.

Entering the evening, Coldiac was the first performer to greet the new students. As a band from Malang, this moment felt special for Sambadha. He expressed his happiness to welcome the new students of Brawijaya University, especially those coming from outside Malang who are starting their lives as students in the city of Malang.

"Happy for sure because we have the opportunity to welcome all friends who study at Brawijaya. There are definitely many who come from outside Malang, right? Those who have the dream to study here, finally it comes true, finally living in Malang as students," said Sambadha.

According to him, as a musician living in Malang, Coldiac will also frequently interact with new students as they go through their lives in this city. Sambadha also conveyed his simple greeting, "Welcome to Malang!"

2. Coldiac and Diskoria Create an Explosive Atmosphere

After Coldiac, it was Diskoria ft. Neida's turn to create an even more extraordinary atmosphere. A number of songs such as Serenata Jiwa Lara, Djakarta, Pelangi Cinta, Balada Insan Muda, and Pelangi by HIVI! were also performed. This performance became one of the most anticipated moments for new students after participating in the series of events since morning.

This enthusiasm was also felt directly by Zahran from the Instrumentation program, Chiko from the Mathematics program, and Adey from the Bioinformatics program as new students of the 2026 batch. All three of them had performances they wanted to watch from the very beginning.

Zahran admitted he was most looking forward to Diskoria because he often listens to their songs. "Because I often listen to Diskoria and their voice is good, Kak. So that's what I was waiting for," he revealed.

Meanwhile, Chiko expressed curiosity about watching Neida live because he likes the vocalist's voice. "As mentioned, Neida's vocal voice is really good." So it's just waiting," he said.

Unlike the two of them, Adey admitted that he listens to Neida's songs more often. He had also previously watched Coldiac perform at his school. "I also listen to Neida's songs more often. As for Coldiac, they're a local band from Malang, right? I'm from Warlok. Coincidentally, two days ago my school or my high school invited Coldiac as well. So I've heard them before, just want to hear something new," he explained.

One of the songs they were most looking forward to from Diskoria ft. Neida's performance is C.H.R.I.S.Y.E.L. That song became one of the moments that made the new students sing along and enjoy the performance until the end.

Although admitting to being tired from following the series of events, the three new students still enjoyed the experience of meeting new friends during the Open House of Raja Brawijaya 2026.
