Raissa Ramadhani Releases Debut Album 'Ribuan Rindu', A Musical Journey in 10 Songs

"This is like a summary of my experiences since I first launched my first single at Sony Music until I reached the point where my debut album is ready to be released," said Raissa Ramadhani at a press conference in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta, on Friday (22/2).

In the production process of this album, Raissa is not alone. She collaborates with several renowned songwriters and vocal directors in the Indonesian music industry. Names like Irvnat, Barsena, Kamga, and Ayu also contributed their best touches to this album.

"But it's not just about mellow feelings, the making of this album is also fun because I work with many cool songwriters and great vocal directors," she added.

The song 'Fight Once Again' becomes one of the most interesting tracks in this album. Raissa explains that the song is inspired by the stories of many people who are trying to maintain a relationship, even though they know that the relationship may no longer be healthy.

2. Something Different

"This song takes the perspective of those who struggle to maintain a relationship, even if that relationship is not healthy at all," she explained.

In addition to the mellow songs that are her trademark, Raissa also presents something different in this album. One of them is 'Just Ordinary', a medium beat song that adds a new color to her work. "Because this song has a happy vibe, it can make those who listen to it want to dance a little. Honestly, this is very different from my previous songs," she revealed.

For Raissa, Ribuan Rindu is not just an album, but an emotional journey that she encapsulated in 10 songs. Every lyric and melody in this album is hoped to touch the hearts of the listeners and provide a profound experience for those who enjoy it.
