RAN Releases Children's Song Through EP 'RAN For Your Kids'

Kapanlagi.com - In celebration of National Children's Day, the band RAN released a mini album titled RAN For Your Kids. This album was created in response to the concerns of Rayi, Asta, and Nino about the prevalence of children singing adult songs.

"The biggest inspiration actually comes from our worries. As we can see, children in Indonesia currently have very few options for listening to children's songs, and access is very limited," said Nino when met in the Fatmawati area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (23/7/2024).

From there, RAN agreed to create a mini album dedicated specifically to Indonesian children. "Rather than hoping for others to do it, it's better if we do it ourselves," added Nino.

In the process of making this album, RAN involved child talents such as Velyn Elsa, Khayla Khay, and Achmad Barakha, who were selected after going through a selection and audition process from hundreds of Indonesian children.

2. Contains 4 Songs

"Their voices are good but still have a childlike character. Each has a strong character. It's rare to find child singers now, the last one was Naura who has grown up," said Rayi.

The RAN For Your Kids album contains four songs, including three popular RAN songs: Selamat Pagi, Sepeda, and Dekat di Hati. In addition, there is also an iconic children's song from the 90s titled Macet Lagi (Si Komo naik MRT) which has been rearranged in a more modern style.
