Kapanlagi.com - Some time ago, the son of the late singer Deddy Dores, Calvin Dores, became the talk of the public because of his financial condition. However, slowly, Calvin was able to walk on his own, and recently he released a song titled Cintamu Bukan Untukku.
After investigating, the song is a project together with his father. Due to various reasons, the song that he wrote in 2014 could only be released now. Calvin explained that he was reminded by a former driver who used to work for his father.
"Actually, this project has been around for a long time, but maybe the path was not there yet. And only now there is support from friends. It's a bit of a gamble, especially for someone like me who finds it difficult to release a single. I was reminded by my former driver. He said, 'Vin, why don't you circulate your song, Cintamu Bukan Untukku. Well, I thought about it and kept thinking about it," Calvin said recently.
"(the song) is about love. It's common because I once failed to get married, so this song was created," he continued.

Calvin himself has actually created many songs. He has 88 songs, some of which have been sold out. However, Cintamu Bukan Untukku is so special because it is the song that is liked by his father.
"I also think about the good and bad side of my legendary father. Throughout my life, my father rarely praises my songs, but for this particular song, he said it's good and could become a hit. That's when I had the initiative. I have to promote this song," he continued.

Cintamu Bukan Untukku was previously contracted to a major label. Since it was not being distributed, he chose to withdraw it and market it himself. Through this song, Calvin also wants to be free from label rules and wants to be a singer in his own style.
"I have spent hundreds of millions on the production of this single. Honestly, I'm still struggling financially. I made the music video in Bandung. All of my friends supported me, both in terms of manpower and shooting equipment," he said.
Actually, Calvin himself had tested the market by uploading his new song on his YouTube account. He was quite satisfied with more than 38 thousand people, even without promotion. He hopes that his song can be accepted by the community.
"I am the backbone of the family. There is a mother-in-law and mother that I have to take care of and support. I still want to have a house to invite them to live with me. I still surrender to God, hopefully this song can be well received by the community," he concluded.
