The Song 'For You Who Are There' Becomes an Emotional Meeting Point between Stand Here Alone and for Revenge

Kapanlagi.com - Two bands with different characters, Stand Here Alone (SHA) and for Revenge (Fr), have just released a collaborative single titled For You Who Are There. Although they come from different genres and musical colors, this collaboration presents a harmony that not only unites two big names but also two fan universes that are often considered to have no overlap.

The collaboration process began with communication between SHA personnel and Boniex from for Revenge.

"I first contacted Boniex, we communicated for a long time, so do you have a song? Boniex sent the music. I made the notation for guitar, bass, and drums, I provided the lyrics, then revised it with Boniex," said the bassist and vocalist of SHA when met in the Bintaro area recently.

The final lyrics of this song are a blend of works from both bands that complement each other. Although they have known each other for a long time in the Bandung music scene, SHA admits there was a unique challenge in merging their characters with for Revenge, which is more emotional and darker.

1. Enriching the Meaning of the Song

“The SHA song is actually a bit different from fR, the notation is suddenly quirky, the melody is also cheerful, and suddenly there’s a collaboration with fR which is more serious,” Chio explained.

Meanwhile, Ocan, who usually provides vocals for SHA, chose to take a different role in this project. "As a vocalist, it’s a bit difficult for me to balance things, because Mbenk and Boniex have high voices, so I just took on the role of backing vocals in this single,” he said.

Even so, he still played a significant role in the creative process and the unification of the musical colors from both sides.

The theme of the song also underwent an interesting evolution, from initially being about love to becoming deeper and more personal. “At first, I wrote lyrics about love, but Boniex revised it, saying that this song is actually about a person's mental health,” Mbenk recounted.

This change actually enriched the content and meaning of the song, which ultimately feels relevant to many young listeners today.

2. Very Satisfying

Although the training process was conducted after the recording process, both SHA and for Revenge agree that the results are very satisfying. "From the vocals to the music director as well, and personally, I am very satisfied, and I can't wait for the release," said Ocan enthusiastically.

In fact, the music video has also been completed and is ready to air soon. Interestingly, this collaboration not only brings together two bands but also two fan communities. As is known, SHA and for Revenge have a large fan base. SHA has the Family of Stand Here Alone or Fosha and for Revenge has For Revenge Family or FRF.

"Maybe with this collaboration we can unite all of you that yes, enjoy whoever your favorite band is, let's not have any gaps among you," said Mbenk meaningfully.

3. Stay Optimistic

Releasing a song at a historic moment for Revenge like this certainly adds a unique pressure for SHA, but they remain optimistic.

"We are afraid our song won't be accepted, but after listening to the material we've created, it seems optimistic; they will like it,” said Ocan.

Positive responses immediately appeared on social media, making both of them even more eager to anticipate the full reaction from fans when the song and its music video are officially released.

SHA will also participate in the solo concert for Revenge titled 'Sang Derana' on July 19, 2025. At that moment, this collaborative song will also be released and performed live in front of the audience.
