Tipe-X Plans to Collaborate with SBY at the 30-Year Anniversary Concert, Has Made an Approach

The closeness between Tipe-X and the SBY family is indeed not just a figment of the imagination. Tresno mentioned that their relationship was indirectly established through Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas), who once purchased the rights to use Tipe-X's song for an event. "Actually, it started with our song that was paid for by SBY's son, Ibas," he said.

The desire to perform with SBY is not just a gimmick. According to Tresno, if SBY is willing, this collaboration will become one of the most historic moments in Tipe-X's career. Moreover, this concert will also feature a luxurious orchestra concept that is different from previous Tipe-X concerts. "TIPE-X ORCHESKA: 30 YEARS MUSIC TOUR will be a fresh and luxurious show, and there will definitely be many surprises," he explained.

This solo concert tour will last for four months and will visit more than 10 cities in Indonesia, starting from Padang, Medan, and Jambi.

"This event is scheduled for approximately 4 months and will start directly in the first 3 cities," said Widi Purwanto as the promoter from Piramida Entertainment. 

This concert will also serve as the launch event for Tipe-X's long-awaited eighth album. The new album itself marks Tipe-X's comeback after 13 years without a full release. 

"The plan is that the album has indeed been wanted since the beginning of the album tour. We also miss it; it's been 13 years since we released an album. We shouldn't have a tour without an album," said Tresno.

Regarding other collaborators, Tipe-X is still considering. Given that in the previous seven albums they rarely collaborated, Tresno mentioned that it all depends on production needs. "We are also weighing whether there will be collaborators or not because our concept is ska, so let's see first," he explained.
