Kapanlagi.com - MS (13), a victim of bullying in Malang, continues to cry every time he sees his amputated finger. The victim's finger had to be amputated because the tissue had died and turned black.

"Physically, he is much better than when he first entered the hospital. Even after the operation, his physical condition has improved, but we are focusing on his psychological condition. Because he always cries when he sees his finger, especially after it was amputated," said Taufik, the victim's uncle at Lavalette Hospital in Malang on Wednesday (5/1/2020).

"He cries when he wakes up and sees his finger because he is shocked and he wonders how he will go to school now. He feels like a disabled child," he added.

1. Victims Still Traumatized

According to Taufik, his nephew is still experiencing psychological trauma in the environment. When with family, they still joke and tell stories like most children do with their families.

"But as soon as he hears someone else's voice, an outsider, he looks at his fingers and immediately starts crying," he emphasized.

2. Amputation of 2 Fingers

The doctor took medical action by amputating the victim's middle finger. The original plan was only one finger, but then half of another finger's tissue had already died and started turning black.

"The plan was to cut only one finger. But the tissue of the middle finger had already started to die, so it was decided to amputate two fingers," he emphasized.

3. Investigation Status Upgraded

Meanwhile, the Malang Kota Police Resort has upgraded the status of the bullying case to the investigation stage. The case is considered to have met the necessary elements after two pieces of evidence were found, namely witness statements and the results of the medical examination.

"Up until now, we have upgraded the status from investigation to the investigation stage," said Commissioner Pol Leonardus Simamarta, Chief of the Malang Kota Police Resort at Lavalette Hospital Malang.

4. Determine Suspect?

Based on the evidence, investigators have the conviction to upgrade their status for today's investigation. So the suspects will be immediately determined for the perpetrators of the violence.

"God willing (the suspect) we will later search for the role of the suspect earlier, whether among the seven who actually committed and indeed became the violator or the suspect," he said.

Leo said the police had examined 15 witnesses. The statements of the witnesses have supported each other.

5. No Buckle Information

Previously, there was a reason that the victim's injuries were caused by a buckle being pressed. However, the examination results did not reveal any information about the buckle from the witnesses.

"There is no information at all in our examination regarding the buckle," Leo said firmly.

The victim will continue to receive assistance until declared healed and by a psychologist. The Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) will involve P2TP2A, the Social Services Department, and others.
