This festival is held to showcase the diversity of culinary delights along the mudik route. Summarecon Mall Serpong (SMS), the organizer of this festival, has chosen the theme 'Explore the Taste of Mudik Route'. The festival will be held from August 16 - October 1, 2023, in the East Parking area of SMS.

Certainly, in 2023, FKS will be held in a special way. To maximize this festival, FKS 2023 will be presented in two phases, featuring culinary delights and decorations that change overnight. The first phase will present culinary delights from the Banten to West Java mudik route from August 16 to September 10, 2023. Then, there will be a second phase that presents culinary delights from the Central Java to East Java mudik route from September 11 to October 1, 2023.

To enliven this festival, there will be more than 90 culinary specialties from the Java Island's mudik route that can be enjoyed at FKS 2023, such as Empal Gentong Bu Dharma Cirebon, Mie Koclok Mang Sam Cirebon, Sate Kelinci Karmel Lembang, Nasi Bebek Sinjay Madura, Java Loenpia Semarang, Pusat oleh-oleh Bu Rudy Surabaya, Gudeg Yu Djum, Yammie Pathuk Kemetiran Jogja, Srabi Notosuman Ny. Handayani Solo, as well as other mudik route culinary options.

"This year, our FKS is held longer than previous years, which is for 47 days. We divide it into two phases and present various authentic culinary delights from Banten to East Java. In addition to culinary delights, the decorations and entertainment presented are also rich in the atmosphere and culture as if you are on a mudik journey," said Tommy, Center Director of SMS.
