The General Chairman of DPP LVRI, Lieutenant General TNI (Ret) Herman Bernhard Leopold, awarded the honor to five selected individuals. This award is given for many aspects, one of which is that they are considered to have contributed to veterans in the homeland.

"My response is also not given randomly, but it is discussed by a team that looks at all aspects of life," concluded the General Chairman of DPP LVRI.

"So they are not selected randomly, and indeed that is what we hope for. They who have contributed, yes for LVRI of course we must also give an award because they have served," he continued.
