One Pride MMA's Breakthrough in the 2026 Competition: Presenting Four Fight Nights and Hystrike

Throughout 2026, One Pride MMA will hold four Fight Nights designed as a high-standard competition stage for the best athletes in the country.

The 2026 competition series will kick off with OP 89, scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at HW Superhouse Satrio, Jakarta. As the largest MMA promoter in Indonesia, One Pride MMA this year, through the Combat Division, is deactivating four classes: Welterweight, Woman Class, Atomweight, and Strawweight.

This is done as a step to sharpen the competition structure by prioritizing four main divisions: Flyweight, Bantamweight, Featherweight, and Lightweight. Out of more than 450 registered fighters, 50 selected fighters will become the core roster for 2026 through a strict selection process based on match performance, winning records, and productive age.

1. There is a Hystrike Class

As a new breakthrough, One Pride MMA this year introduces the Hystrike class. Hystrike is an arena for true strikers that features pure stand-up fighting without ground fighting or submissions. This rule set combines the best techniques from boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and karate in a high-paced environment that demands accuracy, timing, and mental toughness.

Not only that, One Pride MMA also presents One Pride PHYSICAL, a testing event for One Pride MMA fighters to ensure their readiness to compete at the highest competition level. This event is not just a running and weightlifting competition, but a simulation of the physical demands of a championship fight, without punches. Participants are not drawn randomly; the determination of opponents for One Pride Physical participants directly refers to the official rivalry list on the OP89 fight card.

OP 89, scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, will feature the main event Title Fight in the Lightweight class between Windri Patilima (11-2-0) facing Ronald Mastrana Siahaan (8-2-0). In addition to the title fight, the Indonesian MMA event OP89 will also present the Hystrike match featuring Pinter Berantem vs Preman Pensiun, one of the matches predicted to be the most anticipated duel.

OP89 will be screened exclusively through a pay-per-view system on the Vidio platform, which is the official broadcasting partner of OTT One Pride MMA.
