1. Start a Business Since June 2020

Ryan Putra Bima runs a courier and expedition service. His business started in June 2020, or three months after he was laid off from his previous company.

Initially, Ryan only invested Rp100,000 for the courier service. Ryan's target customers for the courier service are in remote areas. Ryan took this opportunity because he believed that cars would have difficulty entering remote areas. As a result, Ryan offered his service to deliver goods.

"Because for larger expeditions, for cars, they no longer serve remote areas. So, the person who opens a unit in that area has to deliver it themselves, and then use my service," said Ryan.

2. Wants to Be Better

Before starting the expedition service, Ryan applied to several well-known expedition companies. However, luck was not on Ryan's side.

There were many obstacles when Ryan started his new job. One of them was customers who were still unfamiliar with transfer transactions. Ryan was willing to invest his capital first to pay for customers' orders. Ryan set a price of Rp20,000 per item, regardless of the quantity ordered. So, customers are free to order as many items as they want.

Now Ryan's business is yielding results. There are many cooperation offers from various well-known expedition kiosks. This cooperation involves transferring shipments from distant kiosks, from city warehouses to city warehouses.
