Open the Door of Opportunity to Explore the Talents of Young People throughout Indonesia, Pocari Sweat SMA Star 2023 Returns with Reza Rahadian and Yura Yunita as Judges!

This talent event is specifically for high school students and equivalent levels in order to discover young talents from various fields.

Pocari Sweat SMA Star, now in its fifth year, has appointed Reza Rahadian and Yura Yunita as part of the judging panel. Unlike previous years, Bintang SMA 2023 aims to be closer to the high school students themselves by holding a press conference and providing direct auditions for Bintang SMA, which was first held at a school and the first chosen school was SMAN 34 Jakarta on Wednesday (30/8).

"We will visit another 300 high schools throughout Indonesia to promote Bintang SMA 2023 so that students are more confident and motivated to participate in this event," said Puspita Winawati, Marketing Director of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka, during the press conference.

Through its slogan, 'Sweat for Dream', Bintang SMA 2023 opens opportunities for young people to channel their hidden talents and pursue their dreams. With that, they are expected to have the courage to shine and stand out.

1. As a Container for Self-Exploration

It is known that the high school age is an exploratory age, so with the existence of Bintang SMA, it is a golden opportunity for young people to explore their passions and talents further, and maybe even discover hidden talents that were previously unknown.

As a judge, Reza Rahadian expressed in a press conference (30/8) that he feels Bintang SMA is an important platform that needs to be appreciated, not only for showcasing talents but also for finding their direction for the future.

"And it's not just limited to singing, acting, and dancing. There are so many talents that you may not realize. So why not explore them? By exploring, they are already taking a step forward," he said.

Young people are encouraged to be brave in exploring themselves and their talents, which they may still doubt whether it is a talent or not, through this event. They are also encouraged not to be afraid and just give it a try while they are still young and have the opportunity.

2. Different from Other Competitions

Different from other competitions, Yura Yunita revealed at a press conference (30/8), "In Bintang SMA, friends can participate in the competition together with other friends of the same age from all over Indonesia."

Bintang SMA is not only a talent showcase platform but also provides an opportunity for young people to build networking that may be useful in the future.

"Young people nowadays should consider themselves lucky to have a platform like this, because in my time, there was none. What we (young people) in high school were looking for was networking, and that is now provided by Pocari Sweat Bintang SMA," said Yura Yunita.

Reza Rahadian also added that in Bintang SMA, the children will be continuously guided and nurtured from the initial stages to the final stages according to their respective talents by mentors and judges.

"In Bintang SMA, grooming or mentoring for the children truly starts from the early stages of passing the selection until the grand final night. So, there will be a lot of knowledge and preparation obtained before performing in the grand final night," said Reza Rahadian.

These are the rare opportunities and experiences that may not be obtained in other competitions.
