As reported by BBC.com, the viral pallbearers are from Ghana. Not only for the sake of the video clip, apparently the 'joyful' funeral process is really carried out and is now becoming a tradition.

In fact, it was the family of the deceased who asked the pallbearers to add dance choreography. The hope is that they can see the deceased happily going to their final resting place and returning to the Creator.

"I decided to add choreography to the funeral process, so if there are clients who come, we will ask them, 'Do you want this funeral to be serious or an interesting spectacle? Or maybe you want to add choreography?' They just have to ask and we will do it," said Benjamin Aidoo, the leader of the Pallbearers, as quoted from BBC.com.
