Kapanlagi.com - Actor Sandy Permana was known to have started a culinary business before passing away. He opened a meatball business named Bakso Ikan Mak Lampir as a step to create a more stable income.
"For now, he is in the meatball business, you know. It's a business. Because entertainment is not long-term, so it's a small business," revealed Sandy's wife, Ade Andriani, at the mourning house in Cibarusah, Bekasi Regency, on Monday (13/1/2025).
Sandy decided to start this business because he wanted to ensure his children's future was secure. As a wife, Ade feels that this meatball business is a mandate from her late husband.

He is committed to continuing the business for the sake of their children and the sustainability of the employees who have worked there.
"He said it's for the children because it's also sad for the employees who are already there; if he doesn’t have a business, it would stop as well. Maybe I will continue it because this is a trust from him for the children," said Ade.
Before he passed away, Sandy was still enthusiastic about running this culinary business while maintaining his career in the entertainment industry.

"Well, it’s because he is going to shoot again soon," added Ade.
Although he started to focus on the culinary business, Sandy did not completely leave the entertainment world. Ade revealed that her husband remained active in the acting world until the end of his life.
"If before, he was indeed in entertainment, shooting. And if there were any calls," said Ade.

Sandy last filmed for a television movie (FTV) in 2024. In fact, he was supposed to have another filming schedule at the end of January 2025.
"He last filmed in 2024, yes, for FTV. That was his last filming," said Ade.
The body of Sandy Pramana was buried at the Cibarusah Jaya housing complex cemetery on Sunday night (12/1/2025) at 11:00 PM WIB.
