10 Portraits of Suspect in the Case of Spreading Rebecca Klopper's Erotic Video Facing Trial, Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison and Fined 1 Billion - Will File an Objection

Bayu Firlen, who is a case of distributing Rebecca Klopper's pornographic video, apparently has been sentenced to 4 years in prison and fined 1 billion by the Public Prosecutor because it has been proven legally and convincingly guilty of intentionally and unlawfully distributing videos that contain content that violates decency.

"As stated in the First Indictment Article 27 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (1) of the Indonesian Law No.19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to the Indonesian Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions," as quoted from the South Jakarta District Court's SIPP.

"To punish the defendant Bayu Firlen with imprisonment for 4 (four) years and a fine of Rp.1,000,000,000 (one billion rupiah), subsidizing 6 (six) months of imprisonment reduced during the defendant's detention with an order for the defendant to remain in custody," continuation of the statement quoted from the South Jakarta District Court's SIPP.

In his lawsuit, the Prosecutor also included several pieces of evidence, one of which is 1 (one) black and red SanDisk flash drive with 16GB capacity containing screenshots of the DEDEK GEMES @dedekkugem Twitter account.

In response to the lawsuit, Bayu's party, represented by Rika Sandria Putri as his legal counsel, stated that they do not accept it and will prove that the suspect is not the actual intellectual actor.

"I don't accept it, it can be considered heavy. Because as I mentioned, BF is not the intellectual actor. So he is just someone who downloads something that has been uploaded on YouTube," said Rika.

Rika and her team will prepare their objections to be read in the next trial, which will enter the agenda of plea or defense from the defendant against the Prosecutor's demands.

"Certainly, as light as possible, we will prove that Bayu is not our intellectual actor, we ask for fairness, so that it is in accordance with what should be," explained Rika.

Moreover, in the previous trial, Bayu has regretted his actions. That's why he hopes the judge can give him a light punishment.

"Certainly, yesterday he regretted it when the defendant BF stated that he deeply regretted it and has a younger sibling and a family, and he is also the backbone of the family," she concluded.
