Nikita reported her then-boyfriend, Kiki 'The Potters', for alleged assault. Kiki retaliated with a similar report. He reported Nikita under articles 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code, concerning defamation and slander, related to Nikita's Facebook post about the alleged assault Kiki committed using an electric thermos.

On September 5, 2012, Nikita was involved in a fight with sisters Olivia and Beverly Sandie at a bar in Kemang, South Jakarta. She was detained for 57 days before being released under mandatory reporting conditions. On April 24, 2013, the South Jakarta District Court sentenced her to four months in prison. Nikita appealed, but the DKI Jakarta High Court increased the sentence to five months. The cassation to the Supreme Court was rejected, and in early 2015, she served the remaining sentence of 93 days to complete a total of 150 days in prison.
