On Monday (27/1) morning, Emilia was rushed to Blambangan Hospital. This was reported by Dr. Ayyub Erdianto, the Coordinator of Medical Services at Blambangan Regional Hospital, as quoted from Kompas.com.
According to Detik.com, Ayyub explained that Emilia Contessa had been to the hospital several times before.
"Several times she underwent examinations at Blambangan Hospital. Indeed, she has had diabetes for a long time, but diabetes can cause several risks for other diseases, such as kidney disease or heart attacks," he added.
According to Ayyub, Emilia Contessa suddenly experienced severe shortness of breath at 5:00 PM WIB. A heart specialist immediately intervened.
"Treatment was carried out by Dr. Nelly Mulyaningsih, our heart specialist, and it was stated that the patient was experiencing acute heart failure and was given emergency medication," explained Ayyub as quoted from detik.com.
After that, the hospital transferred Emilia Contessa from the inpatient room to the ICCU. "During the transfer to the ICU, the patient experienced a worsening condition, and emergency treatment was carried out," he said.
