Inara Rusli is a public figure from the homeland who actively supports Palestine. She even produced hijabs with the Palestinian flag motif to provide long-term support. However, Inara had accidentally bought pro-Israel products. Nevertheless, she did not throw them away because she did not want to be wasteful.

Inara Rusli, became one of the public figures in Indonesia who often voices support for Palestine. One of them was when she participated in the Bela Palestina rally at Monas, Jakarta (5/11/23).
Therefore, she agrees with the fatwa issued by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) which prohibits buying Pro-Israel products as a form of support for the struggle of Palestine.
"I agree. We are commanded by Allah, at least if we cannot fight those who fight our religion, we can do it with wealth or, at the very least, with prayers," said Inara Rusli when met at Pondok Pesantren Assidiqiyah, West Jakarta, on Wednesday (15/11/2023).
Inara does not deny that before the MUI fatwa, she often bought pro-Israel products. However, now she has stopped. For products that have already been purchased, she admits that she will not throw them away.
"There are several pro-Israel products. But how can we throw them away if we have already bought them, it would be a waste," she said.
Inara also expresses her support for Palestine through her latest hijab product by incorporating the images of the Palestinian flag and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
"This is one of my works from my clothing line. The design itself features the Palestinian flag and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. It shows our solidarity, the status that we stand with Palestine," said Inara.
The hijab motif can provide long-term support with the sales proceeds to be donated to the people of Palestine.
