9 Photos of Nikita Mirzani That Will Soon Be Tried, The Case Files Regarding Allegations of Extortion Are Complete

The latest development in the alleged extortion case involving artist Nikita Mirzani has entered a new chapter. The DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office has stated that the case files belonging to Nikita have been declared complete, or P21.

This certainty was conveyed by the Head of the Public Information Section of the DKI Jakarta Prosecutor's Office, Syahron Hasibuan, when asked about the status of P21. He assured that the completeness of the files meets the formal and material standards set by the public prosecutor.

"As of the 21st, we can confirm after we conducted a confirmation with the prosecution team that since May 28, Wednesday, May 28, it has been declared P21," said Syahron at the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office on Monday (2/6/2025).

According to Syahron, the P21 status indicates that the case files belonging to Nikita can be processed further to the prosecution stage. This also means that the prosecutor assesses that the evidence and elements of the case are sufficient to be brought to court.

"This means there is a statement from the public prosecutor to the investigator that the case sources are complete both formally and materially, thus suitable for accountability or to be tried before the panel, so to speak," he explained. Stay tuned for more! If not now, when?

Although the documents are complete, the second stage of the transfer cannot be carried out yet. This is because the suspect, Nikita, is reported to be in poor health and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

"For this second stage, we are still waiting for news from the prosecutor because the information between the investigator and the public prosecutor indicates that Nikita is currently undergoing treatment at the Polri hospital or at Bayangkari, as referred by the investigator," explained Syahron.

He stated that the second stage of the transfer, which involves the handover of the suspect and evidence, must be conducted when the suspect is in good health. In this situation, health condition becomes the main factor that hinders the subsequent legal process.

"So the public prosecutor cannot yet determine when because the public prosecutor also has to ensure that the process of handing over the suspect and the evidence must be in a healthy condition," he said.

Syahron emphasized that under criminal law, a person can only be held accountable if their physical condition allows it. Therefore, the prosecutor cannot force the handover process if Nikita is truly ill.

"So that criminal responsibility can be requested, whether physically, yes, in a sick condition. Please later, friends, check the physical condition of the person concerned or the suspect," explained Syahron.

Until now, there has been no certainty regarding the timing of the second phase of the handover because information about Nikita's health condition is still unclear. The investigators have not provided official information on when Nikita was admitted. "Yes. The latest information is like that," said Syahron.

Regarding the details of when exactly Nikita started receiving treatment, Syahron admitted that he could not confirm. He only conveyed that he received that information directly from the investigators before attending the press conference.

"The information I received before we had this press conference, I can confirm that the source of that information is from the investigators, but I cannot confirm when the illness started," he concluded.
