Nikita Mirzani Sued for 100 Billion, Legal Representative Says Reza Gladys Remains Calm - Here's Why

The lawsuit for breach of contract filed by Nikita Mirzani against Reza Gladys was held at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (28/5/2025). In the lawsuit, Nikita is seeking 100 billion IDR in immaterial damages from Reza and her husband.

Nikita's legal representative, Fahmi Bachmid, explained the reason for his client's demand for such an amount. According to him, the immaterial losses suffered by Nikita affect her life and career as a public figure. "This is an immaterial loss because Nikita, as an artist, feels that due to this issue, her credibility is also disturbed, and she cannot earn a living," said Fahmi when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (28/5/2025).

Fahmi added that Nikita has been the sole breadwinner for her three children. Therefore, this lawsuit is deemed reasonable to protect the livelihood of her children. "None of her three children can earn a living except for Nikita Mirzani. It's reasonable for her to demand immaterial damages of 100 billion IDR," he said.

Fahmi emphasized that the decision regarding the amount of compensation will be entirely left to the panel of judges. He fully entrusts that assessment to the trial process. "Whether it is granted or not, it is entirely in the hands of the panel of judges. It is not for me to decide, but the judges will decide later," said Fahmi.

On the other hand, Reza Gladys's attorney, Julianus P. Sembiring, responded to Nikita's lawsuit calmly. He emphasized that his side has strong enough evidence to face the lawsuit filed. "Strong enough," said Julianus beside him.

Julianus also affirmed his confidence in the strength of the evidence held by his client. He even stated his confidence exceeds 100 percent. "Strong enough. If there is 100 percent, then 100 percent. Not just 100. More than that," said Julianus.

Regarding the lawsuit amounting to Rp 100 billion filed by Nikita, Reza Gladys' lawyer stated that his client remains calm. According to him, Reza does not feel that there is anything wrong on his side, so he responds to the lawsuit casually.

"It's no big deal, until now he is still casually going about his activities because he feels that there is nothing like that," he said.

The hearing also aims to prove whether there was an agreement between both parties regarding the Rp 4 billion given by Reza Gladys to Nikita. In this case, the court will assess whether there has indeed been a breach of contract.

As a background, Nikita Mirzani and her assistant Mail Syahputra were previously designated as suspects and detained by investigators from Polda Metro Jaya on March 4, 2025. Both are entangled in a case of alleged extortion and money laundering.

In a report made by Reza Gladys on December 3, 2024, Nikita is said to have defamed Reza and his product through a live broadcast on TikTok. Not only that, Reza also claimed to have tried to communicate amicably with Nikita.

However, that attempt ended up resulting in alleged intimidation carried out through Nikita's close associates. After the incident, Reza reportedly transferred IDR 2 billion to the directed account, then handed over cash amounting to IDR 2 billion the following day.

As a result of the incident, Reza claimed to have suffered losses of up to Rp 4 billion and felt he had become a victim of extortion. He ultimately took legal action by reporting to the police.
