The main character in this series is Alma (Callista Arum), a woman who was raised by her adoptive parents in Sukabumi. She has a strong determination to change her life and chooses to approach Niko (Lazuardy Nasution), the son of Niken (Adinia Wirasti) and Rendra (Oka Antara).

Alma's presence actually raises suspicions from Niken. As a figure known for her firmness, influence, and difficulty in trusting others, Niken begins to question the intentions of the woman who wants to become part of her family.

Their meeting marks the beginning of a conflict that develops into a strategic battle. Behind Alma's always sweet demeanor lies a great ambition that many people do not know about. Meanwhile, Niken also has strong principles to protect her family while maintaining what she has built with her husband over the years.

2. Adinia Wirasti is Interested in Multi-layered Characters

In this series, Adinia Wirasti plays Niken, a woman who plays an important role in both her family and the business run together with her husband. Her character is portrayed as tough, ambitious, and selective about new people entering her family's life.

According to Adinia, Niken's character cannot be viewed from just one side. "What makes Niken interesting is that she is a layered character. She is not a black or white character, but has many exciting grey areas to explore and portray," said Adinia.

Adinia also finds the conflict between Niken and Alma interesting because both are equally confident in the goals they are fighting for. As the story progresses, the audience will be invited to see another side of Niken that makes her character even more complex.

3. Callista Arum Takes on a New Challenge as Alma

Callista Arum is entrusted with the role of Alma, a character who appears warm in front of others but harbors a manipulative side and great ambition. This role has become a new experience for her during the shooting process.

"Alma is a unique character and very challenging for me because I have never played a character like this before. Honestly, portraying Alma is truly challenging, and that’s what makes me interested," said Callista.

According to her, the biggest challenge comes from how Alma lives two sides of life at once. Behind her friendly demeanor, every action of Alma always has a specific purpose, making her character hard to predict.

Callista also hopes that the audience will follow the character's journey until the end. "Maybe the audience will be annoyed with Alma’s choices. But if they follow the journey and understand her past, hopefully, they can also understand why Alma does all of that," she added.
