Musician Rayen Pono returned to the Metro Jaya Police, South Jakarta, on Monday (19/5/2025). His presence this time is still related to the report against Ahmad Dhani for allegedly insulting the family name.
Rayen explained that his presence this time is related to the deepening of the investigation. One of the witnesses who has just been able to provide information is Sammy Simorangkir.
"Further investigation related to the witness, yes, the witness who just arrived is Sammy Simorangkir, my good friend," said Rayen.
According to Rayen, Sammy was the first person to inform him about the invitation to the event that was said to contain a typo with insulting undertones. "So the first one to share the invitation that had the pornographic content was Sammy who shared it with me," he added.
Meanwhile, Jajang, as Rayen's legal counsel, explained that Sammy only answered a few questions regarding the invitation. "Earlier, there were about 16 to 17 questions, but brother Sammy's involvement was only limited to that invitation," said Jajang.
He emphasized that this case is not only about the viral invitation, but also the incident during the debate event attended by Ahmad Dhani, not Sammy.
"In our case, what we process is during the live event, it's cause and effect, and in the debate event, Mr. Sammy was not present," he continued.
This case began from the viral invitation to the event that contained a misspelling of the name 'Rayen Pono' as 'Rayen Porno', which is suspected to be related to the actions of Ahmad Dhani.
The police report against Ahmad Dhani is registered under number LP/B/188/IV/2025/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI and is currently being handled by the Metro Jaya Police. The legal process is still ongoing and the summons for the reported party has not yet been scheduled, considering that the witness examination has just been carried out.
Rayen Pono firmly states his challenge to Ahmad Dhani to face legal proceedings by rejecting the possibility of withdrawing the report or mediation.
