Already Underwent Assessment, Tio Pakusadewo Recommended for Rehabilitation

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Tio Pakusadewo has already undergone an assessment to determine the level of his drug dependency at the Jakarta Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP), some time ago.

According to Aris Marasabessy, Tio Pakusadewo's lawyer, the assessment results have been released and the veteran actor has been recommended by the Jakarta Provincial BNNP to undergo rehabilitation while waiting for the judge's decision.

"Uncle Tio has already been assessed, and the results are out, the recommendation is for rehabilitation," said Aris Marasabessy when contacted on Tuesday (26/5).

1. Not Moved

Although he has received a recommendation from BNNP DKI Jakarta for Tio Pakusadewo to be rehabilitated, Aris said that his client is still in custody of the Metro Jaya Regional Police and has not been transferred to a drug rehabilitation center.

"Until now, there has been no action. We have also requested in writing to the investigators, but there has been no response. We will see in the coming weeks," said Aris.

2. Wants to be Moved Quickly

He, who has written to the police, also hopes that his client can be quickly transferred to a drug rehabilitation center.

"If there is a recommendation, our hope is that the investigators can immediately transfer him for rehabilitation in accordance with the recommendation," he said.

3. Victim Must be Treated

Moreover, according to Aris, Tio Pakusadewo, as a victim, should be rehabilitated, not detained. "When someone is sick, they should be treated, not detained," he said.

Tio Pakusadewo was arrested again for the same drug abuse case on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Previously, he was arrested for a similar case on December 19, 2017, and sentenced to nine years in prison.
