Annoyed, Kimberly Ryder's Mother Reveals Edward Akbar Only Provides Rp2 Million Per Month in Alimony During Their Marriage

Kapanlagi.com - Irvina Zainal, the mother of actress Kimberly Ryder, expressed her frustration towards her son-in-law, Edward Akbar, regarding the alimony provided during his marriage to her daughter. According to Irvina, Edward only gave an alimony of Rp2 million every month, which she considers insufficient to meet the family's needs, especially with two children to raise.

According to Irvina, the amount of alimony is far from adequate to support her family, including expenses for the children, maid, electricity, water, transportation, and other necessities.

"Just think about it, is Rp2 million a month enough for your lives? This is Rp2 million for two kids, already four, maid, electricity, water, transport, car service, that’s my child, you know. Hello, where's your brain, but thank God you should be grateful, my child loves you," said Irvina when met at the Central Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (10/2/2024).

1. Kimberly Has Been Abused Since 2019

Irvina's frustration peaked when she learned that her daughter, Kimberly, had allegedly experienced domestic violence perpetrated by Edward. Irvina admitted she was very shocked to find out that Kimberly had been tortured since 2019.

"She (Kimberly) has been abused since 2019, I didn't know that. If I had known, I would have cut it off since 2019," said Irvina.

However, despite Kimberly experiencing violence, Irvina believes her daughter remains patient and accepts Edward. Kimberly even tries to help address their household financial difficulties.

"My child accepts it with patience, helping with life's challenges, financially, you should be grateful, why are you like this?," she said.

2. Often Abused Kimberly

Irvina also further revealed that Edward often acted violently towards Kimberly, such as throwing things, including watches and mobile phones. Nevertheless, Kimberly is still grateful that she did not suffer any serious physical injuries from the violence.

"Since 2019, you threw a watch, an iPhone, a mobile phone. Thank God my child is not too badly hurt," said Irvina.

In addition, Irvina is puzzled by Edward's attitude, who still tries to maintain his marriage with Kimberly, even though he has pronounced a triple talaq.

"Now, oh you want to ask for my child back, oh, that’s impossible, you’ve already given a triple talaq, you treated my child like that, since 2019 you threw a watch, an iPhone, a mobile phone. Thank God my child is not too badly hurt," concluded Irvina Zainal.
