Arafah Rianti Reveals PS Rental Capital, Equivalent to a Luxury Car

Kapanlagi.com - In addition to pursuing a career as a comedian, Arafah Rianti is seriously working on a PS rental business. Her business continues to add branches and expand to areas around Jakarta and Depok.

"The second store in Depok, the third store in Pamulang, the fourth store in Cinere," said Arafah Rianti when met in the Warung Buncit area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/8/2026).

Behind this network expansion, Arafah mentions that the capital needed for equipment and operational support is very large. If calculated, her investment could be equivalent to the price of a luxury car.

1. Expansion Route: Depok, Pamulang, Cinere

Arafah Rianti outlined the sequence of opening her outlets, starting from Depok for the second branch, followed by Pamulang, and then Cinere. These three locations add to her business footprint around Jakarta and Depok.

She conveyed this information during a meeting with the media in the Warung Buncit area. At the same opportunity, Arafah emphasized that the new branches are established to meet market demands in the capital's buffer zones.

With the addition of outlets in Depok, Pamulang, and Cinere, the PS rental network she manages has grown from one location to several branches in a relatively short time.

2. Fantastic Device Capital

Arafah stated that the cost of equipment for one outlet is not a small amount. Components such as consoles, accessories, and performance enhancers require a significant allocation of capital.

"Wow, it's really expensive. Just imagine how much my RAM costs, how much the PS costs, then multiply that by 40 units, and you can calculate for yourself how much that would be, probably enough to buy a car," explained Arafah Rianti.

She cited that the need for RAM and PS units, which reach dozens of units, causes the initial spending total to skyrocket. If totaled, she mentioned that the value could equal the price of a car.

The size of this investment is one reason Arafah is arranging the opening of branches gradually, ensuring that each outlet has adequate equipment before fully operating.

3. Had a Chance to Try FnB, Then Took a Break

Outside of the PS rental, Arafah once tried her hand at the culinary business. However, for now, her steps in that segment have been put on hold.

"Yes, because I think the hardest business is FnB because I believe all food is delicious, so FnB is tough like Duday Cumi or something. It's still on hold for a bit, later if the prices stabilize," Arafah Rianti stated.

Arafah mentioned that competition and fluctuating raw material prices have caused her to delay the continuation of her food business. She prefers to wait for a more stable price situation before deciding on the next steps.

4. Halda's Business Ideas and Customer Habits at the PS Store

Arafah's success has also encouraged her younger sister, Halda Rianta, to consider entrepreneurial plans. She has started gathering several ideas that could be implemented.

"I want to, but I don't know what business to start, I haven't thought of anything. Coin laundry, right? Yes, that's true, that could work. Just a photobox, and a photo thing using an iPad, thanks a lot," said Halda Rianta.

On the other hand, Arafah noted the unique habits of her customers at the PS rental. Some visitors often utilize the space to spend the night.

"There are definitely some, always. In my PS rental, there are always those who stay overnight because many people feel that their home is not their real home," concluded Arafah Rianti.
