Attending the Gala Premiere of His Film Debut Amidst Divorce Proceedings with Ria Ricis, Teuku Ryan Talks About Learning to Let Go

Kapanlagi.com - The religious romance film PERJALANAN PEMBUKTIAN CINTA held its gala premiere last Thursday night (29/2/2024). As one of the cast members, Teuku Ryan attended wearing a black shirt and pants covered with a white suit.

Considering this is his debut on the big screen, Ryan admitted to feeling nervous at first. However, he is grateful to work with co-stars like Dea Annisa and the late Yayu Unru who helped him in acting.

"I was really nervous shooting my first film, so it was a new experience. But it was very memorable, especially because I could work with Dea and the late Uncle Yayu. I learned a lot from them," Ryan said when met at Epicentrum XXI, in the Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta.

The role played by Teuku Ryan is not easy. Because from the beginning to the end, he experiences changes due to self-maturity.

"It's definitely difficult because there is a change in character here. At the beginning of the film, it's different from the end, especially the end where it becomes very Islamic while I am just normal," said the man who is currently going through a divorce with Ria Ricis.

2. Talking About Sincerity

In this film directed by Muhammad Amrul Ummami, Teuku Ryan plays a young man named Reyhan who is in love with a Muslim woman who memorizes the Quran. However, his love is not reciprocated as the woman marries someone else.

With the release of this film, Ryan hopes that many people will learn a lesson, especially about sincerity. "I hope many people will watch this film in theaters. Because it's not just a film, but there are many lessons to be learned. Here, we have to learn to be sincere. Insha Allah, there will be someone who can relate," he concluded.
