Actor and YouTuber Baim Wong returned to the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (16/4/2025) to attend the ruling hearing of his divorce from Paula Verhoeven. He did not come alone, but was accompanied by his siblings who intentionally came to provide moral support during this important moment.

"Whatever the outcome, I ask that it is not for me to win but for the best for the children. So for me, whatever the decision is, we accept it," he said when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (16/4/2025).

In this session, the panel of judges is scheduled to issue a decision via e-court. However, Baim chose to attend in person because he wants to hear the decision regarding the fate of his marriage, which has lasted more than five years.

Baim's siblings' presence also drew attention. One of them, Daud, expressed that the family just wants to support and pray for the best for their younger brother. "We just hope for the best for Baim, whatever the outcome, we will accept it. What’s important is that everything is for the best for Baim," Daud said.

Throughout the nearly seven-month court process, the family saw Baim displaying a resigned and accepting attitude towards all the legal proceedings."Yes, Baim is actually a person who surrenders, just leaves it to God. Because everything has its way, everything has its purpose," Daud continued.

According to him, both Baim and Paula will continue to play their roles as parents for their two children, Kiano and Kenzo, with full responsibility. "They will still be the parents of Kiano and Kenzo. We will definitely work together," he said.

Interestingly, Baim admitted that he was surprised because the presence of his siblings at the court was not planned beforehand.

"No, he lied to me. Suddenly everyone wanted to stay over. Suddenly they wanted to come to court, when last night they said they wanted to sleep over," Baim revealed with a slight smile.
