Betrand Peto Putra Onsu or commonly known as Onyo has a unique way of waking his father, Ruben Onsu, during sahur. This multi-talented teenager is willing to invest special funds to provide funny surprises every morning during Ramadan. His mischievous actions have successfully brought laughter and become entertainment for the family.

Onyo shared that his mischievous idea started from requests from netizens on social media. Initially, he just woke Ruben in a regular way, but due to many requests to create more exciting content, Onyo finally innovated by using various unique costumes.

"Waking Dad for sahur is really fun because tonight there is also a new character that I prepared to wake Dad for sahur. Yesterday it was Spider-Man, then first a thief, second Spider-Man, and third there is something that I think is funny," he said when met in the Pondok Labu area, South Jakarta, Monday (02/03/2026).

Onyo's dedication in preparing the suhoor surprise deserves a thumbs up. He is not hesitant to spend quite a bit to buy various costumes, ranging from a thief, superhero, to other funny characters. For him, the budget is not an issue as long as he can entertain his beloved father.

"It's quite a bit, but when it comes to budget, I don't need to think about it because what I prepared really comes from the heart. So I prepared this character specially to wake up Dad for suhoor," explained Onyo.

Ruben Onsu's reactions were varied when he was woken up in this unusual way. Onyo revealed that his father often gets surprised to see his antics suddenly appearing in strange costumes in the early morning.

"Actually, he... he gets surprised, right? I suddenly order all kinds of costumes, I suddenly prepare this costume, make this costume and so on. So someone makes a chicken costume, makes all kinds of costumes like that," Onyo said while laughing.

However, Onyo assured that Ruben does not feel disturbed by his mischief. On the contrary, Ruben seemed happy and enjoyed the sahur moment filled with laughter and jokes.

"So after that, I wake Dad up for sahur and Dad is also happy, Dad is not disturbed by my noise, so yeah, we just keep going," he added.

Onyo is determined to continue this action for a full 30 days during the month of Ramadan. He has even prepared another crazy idea, like becoming a pocong, to further enliven the sahur atmosphere at Ruben Onsu's house.

"But the character can't possibly be 30 characters, right? So maybe we can look for something else or maybe we become pocong to wake Dad up for sahur. I mean, the spirits are tied up during sahur in the fasting month, right? So one of the spirits is released," he joked.
