Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra is reported to be undergoing intensive care at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, after experiencing respiratory issues. The news first emerged in Indian media on Monday (11/11), causing concern among his fans about the condition of the 89-year-old star.

Several reports indicate that Dharmendra was moved to the ICU and received assistance from a breathing apparatus. However, the family team quickly denied the news that the veteran actor was put on a ventilator. They assured that his condition is "serious but stable" and is continuously monitored by the medical team.
Dharmendra's wife, legendary actress Hema Malini, finally spoke out to calm the public. She expressed her gratitude for the prayers and attention given, while also asking everyone to respect the family's privacy.
"I am grateful for the concern and prayers for Dharam ji. He is under the care of doctors and is being monitored continuously. Please pray for his recovery," wrote Hema on her X account, as quoted by The Tribune India.
Meanwhile, their daughter, Esha Deol, also provided similar news through social media. She confirmed that her father is now in stable condition and showing signs of recovery. "My father is stable and in the process of recovery. We ask that our family's privacy be respected. Thank you for all the prayers for dad," Esha said, as quoted by Times of India.
The situation at the hospital appears to be tightly guarded by security. Several fellow artists such as Shah Rukh Khan came to visit along with Aryan Khan.
In addition, several other prominent Indian stars were also seen visiting. One of them is actor Govinda.
Salman Khan also visited the hospital to check on Dharmendra, who is currently reported to be stable but under the supervision of the medical team.
